John Joseph joined the National LGBTQ+ Society in January of 2020 in the role of Senior Executive Vice President of Operations. Mr. Brown came to the National LGBTQ+ Society with many years of past volunteer experience within the American Red Cross where he served as New Jersey State Chapter as Assistant Director of Health and Safety and the American Heart Association. John Joseph also volunteered many years in numerous positions with his local hometown emergency medical services of Edgewater Park, New Jersey. There he served as 1^st and 2^nd Lieutant as well Training Officer. Mr. Brown is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of Bradley Emergency Services Consulting, LLC, in which he founded in 2013. BESC, LLC is a premier emergency management training and consulting firm, which is John’s background for more then 30 years. He has obtained numerous certifications, and has completed his schooling within Emergency Management at Excelsior College of New York, Drexel University, obtaining degrees and certificates, and is currently enrolled in the in the International Business Management Institute, pursing a degree in Global Executive Management and Politics.

John believes in that everyone needs to be themselves no matter where they have come from or what their background is, and being proud of all that you do is a major focus of him serving in his capacity, as well major fundraising, public relations, and media relations. Mr. Brown also oversees the daily operations of the National LGBTQ+, and its chapters across the country.
